Adler at the Airport

One of my favorite Museums in Chicago is the Adler Planetarium. It is the first Planitarium in the United States. Not only does it have cover the exploration of the heavens, but it has a great collection donated by NASA like the Gemini Spacecraft. But here my secret, there is an Adler at the Airport.

At the end of the train tracks you will find a gallery of images from the Adler. Adler at the Airport and it’s all for free. You don’t even have to go through security, so you can go now when all the Museums are closed. All for the cost of taking the CTA’s Blue Line.

Here you will find some of the great images of space. The vary from what you can see with the naked eye to those that a huge telescope is need to glimpse the beauty at the edge of our universe. You will see the Moon and Sun like you have never seen before. There will also be my favorite, images of the Nebula.

Then there is the Not Expected, great images of Earth from Adler at the Airport. These images are of scientific phenomena that can be explained away with basic physics, but bring all of natures beauty into perspective.

Time to spare between flights? This is one of the may awesome things to see at the airports for FREE. But it’s not only Science, you will see a large of assortments of art. Then there is the Natural History that can take you back Millions of years to see Dinosaurs from the Field Museum.

When you get the chance, go Downtown to the Adler. You can do it for FREE just like in the Airport. If you want to find other major attractions to visit for free, you can check them out at Nonrevwebsite.com.
