Paris is known for great food. But it usually comes at a great cost. Fortunately, one of our members showed me where the great dinners are found.
The St Germain area of Paris is home to many great restaurants. Some of which are very reasonable, around 15 Euro, and just as delicious as its more expensive counterparts. One of these places is La Citroville. It is a small place with terrific meals.
A full meal consisting an appetizer, Entrée, and dessert costs as little as 12 Euros. The selection was extensive and very delicious. Everyone in our group thought it was well worth the effort to find it.

No, you don’t have to pretend to be the Pope to get into the Vatican Museum for free. This museum with thousands of masterpieces worth millions is free of charge to those who can read a calendar. If you go the last Sunday of the Month, all the areas are free. This includes the Sistine Chapel with the remarkable ceiling. But there is still one problem that I have the tip for solving.
The Problem is there is too much to see in one day. There are so many rooms that if you tried to soak it all in, you would never see the last and most important piece, the Sistine Chapel. A person who worked in the Vatican and is now a Tour Guide told me the secret. When you enter go all the way through the Museum and as you walk notice what catches your eye.
This solution has you go all the way through getting an overview of the Museum with plenty of time to view and absorb the Sistine Chapel which is really why you go here to begin with. Then if you have time left, you can go back through and look more closely at the things that caught your attention. And if the line to get in is very long, this secret could save you wasting time and missing Michelangelo’s masterpiece.

Video of The New Porsche Museum
Like some of you, I have been counting the days until the Porsche Museum was opened. With the opening of the Mercedes Museum in Stuttgart, Porsche did everything it could to top it’s rival, from cutting edge architecture to user friendly high-tech advancements. The result were incredible.
For 8 Euro, you can gain access to over 100 years of German Automotive Engineering at its finest and a personal audio guide. The great about the guide is it explains pieces in the museum at the pace and structure that suits your personal desires without disturbing others. Besides the audio guide, there are displays of cars and components coordinated with video whose feed goes directly into your personal tour guide.
This is a racing enthusiast’s museum that any engineer would love. From the very first display, an electric hub drive, the talk is about speed. The rest of the museum explains how Porsche took basic principles on light weight, aerodynamics, and power, and kept refining them until they reached the panicle of where they are today.

If you remember the movie ‘Roman Holiday,’ you will remember Gregory Peck sticking his hand in an ancient Roman Marble relic. The reason for this was the legend that if someone told a lie while their hand was in there, it would be amputated. The legend is true and you can see it for free to this day.
In reality, ancient manhole cover, but it is reality an ancient lie detector. The real legend is that Roman wives brought their husbands here and told them to put their hand in the mouth while asking them if they were faithful. If they lied they lost that limb.

With it being Easter, I thought it might be appropriate to point out the place where the world changed, literally. Scala Santa houses the Holy Staircase. These are the step Jesus Christ climbed to be sentenced to be crucified by Pontius Pilate.
These steps where brought to Rome from Jerusalem in 326 by Constantine’s Mother. The stairs are covered in wood for protection, but in you want to go up on your knees, you can actually be on the spot that Jesus took to be condemned to death.
Think about that. For free you can be in exact spot where the wheels were set in motion to change history forever. No mater what your religion, I think you can appreciate that.
Of course there are other places in Rome where history was changed forever, such as the place Caesar was killed. To see them all, go to the Rome section of NonRevWebsite.com. See more free attractions from around the world at NonRevWebsite.com.

For many, dinner in New York cost more than a bad investment tip. For others it can cost less than tap water . The secret is to know where to look. And if you look hard enough, free is what you find.
In New York, I’ve found it’s the Place called Rudy’s Bar and Grill. People come for the cheap beer and the free hotdogs. It may be a dive bar, but you will find everyone from the richest on Wall Street to college kids. The food is free as long as the “hot dog guy” is there. They even have a 100 foot square projection screen.
For a $5 pitcher, you can feed your friends. How can you top that? I don’t know if I can, but I am going to have fun trying… for all of you, of course

New Yorkers are known for their financial wizardry which is why they are the financial center of the world. So what is their solution to what is happening today? The Recession Special at Grey’s Papaya.
Grey’s Papaya gets five stars out of five from New Yorkers based on taste but also on value. The Recession Special is two hot dogs and a 14 once drink for $3.50. There is almost no way to beat that unless the food is free, but that is another story. There are several locations throughout the city.
To see how to save even more money than this on your next meal, go to the New York section of NonRevWebsite. And if you want to see more deals, go to our Home Page.

Zurich is an expensive city where everything seems to cost something to enter. But unknown to the average traveler, there are things to do in this city that are absolutely free. One of the is the Zurich Toy Museum. Video of the Zurich Toy Museum.
The Zurich Toy Museum has toys from the 18th to the 20th Century. What struck me was the intricacy of the toy trains and other mechanical devices. It is as if the took a full scale train and shrunk it. These toys actually work on the same power source as the full size locomotive. There are also dolls and stuffed animals on display. The most interesting is the Teddy Bear that was sold when Teddy Roosevelt ran for office.
Located in downtown Zurich, the museum is easy to get to and worth a look. This museum may even bring back memories of your own childhood. To see more details on this museum as well as other free things to do in Zurich, go to the Zurich Section of NonRevWebsite.com . To see more free thing from around the world, go to NonRevWebsite.com
